Diversions – Moving Image Showcase Vol. II is a series of audiovisual projections organised by Parsec in collaboration with Circolo DEV.
The showcase proposes several encounters, curated by different personalities from the art world (curators, associations), during which works using audiovisual language will be screened: experimental films, video art, hybrid forms of contemporary practices free from traditional theoretical classifications.
Diversions proposes a collective reflection on the role of the image in our time, tracing audiovisual artists who want to resist the emptying of meaning to which the image is heading. Each appointment will thus explore different topics such as the progressive neo-liberalisation and commodification of love and postporno, the focus of the first two meetings.
