Minuzie ripugnanti e vitali
10 to 18 September

From 10 to 18 September, as part of Martina Sarritzu’s residency program, Parsec presents Minuzie ripugnanti e vitali, an exhibition dedicated to the artist in which prints, original plates and diaries dating back to her middle and high school days will build a pathway to grotesque detail where fashions, relationships, love, sex and social conventions are depicted in their most ruthless truth.

On Sept. 11 from 4 to 6 p.m., the workshop Tutto doveva fare male se era divertente will take placelì, having the school diary as a main object of research. The workshop will be open to all and led by Martina Sarritzu.

Martina Sarritzu was born in Cesena in 1992. After graduating in Behavioral Sciences and Social Relations, she moved to Bologna, where she graduated from the Comics and Illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts. In 2020 she published Vacanze in scatola (Canicola Edizioni, written by Tuono Pettinato), and in 2021 she took part in A.M.A.R.E. (Canicola Editions). In 2021 she published Romeo (EditionsDepress). 
In 2021 her work is exhibited as part of Abecedario d’artista, a collective exhibition on the occasion of Parma Italian Capital of Culture 2021.
Since June 2021 Sarritzu has been in residence at Parsec in Bologna, Via del Porto 48 c/d.
