TERRAPOLIS, now in its fourth edition, is being transformed into a larger programme. Talks, workshops, screenings and a day-long festival will accompany us between May and September 2024, in different green areas of the city. Together with the artists and researchers involved, we will explore the link between art and ecology by investigating contemporary ecological aesthetics between speculative fiction and investigative nonfiction.
We will take as reference points the elements of stone and forest for a horizontal observation of the network of relationships of which the world is composed. We will dwell on the interconnection between what is defined as natural and artificial, human and nonhuman, in an attempt to overcome these and other dualisms.
