FESSURE | Workshop curated by Luca Campestri and Jacopo Casamenti

On December 1 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. we present the workshop FESSURE, curated by Luca Campestri and Jacopo Casamenti, winners of the PARSEC RESIDENCY project.
The workshop aims to reflect on the founding themes of Campestri and Casamenti’s work, and to nurture a specific vision of the photographic medium, a tool for understanding and translating reality through which to construct one’s relationship with reality.
The workshop will open with a theoretical introduction that will be followed by the workshop core: 45 minutes dedicated to the realization of three photos with one’s cell phone, isolating an urban cross-section, a crack through which to observe with a conscious vision a fragment of reality to which we are daily anesthetized.
In support of the workshop, some fundamental concepts such as that of indical sign or specificity of the medium will be explained.

The meeting is free and open to members of the Parsec Association (membership card €5).
