On Friday, Jan. 19 at 6:30 p.m. Abgott will open its research to a collective critique and discussion with the audience, which may provide an opportunity for shared analysis.

The CRIT is a moment in which the artists open themselves to a collective critique and confrontation with the audience who will be able to express their point of view by building an opportunity for shared analysis. Each CRIT is open to all and lasts 45 minutes, structured in a first part in which the artist cannot intervene and a second part in which they can actively participate instead.

__________
ABGOTT • Composed of ab (negation) and Gott (God). Idol, false god.
Abgott is a project that proposes a resemantization of nonhuman objects and spaces, elaborating a cult of Extinction and criticizing anthropocentric perspectives.

With the multimedia installation No Landscape, Abgott denies the landscape, the presence of humans, the pictorial and human vision of a scenario. It investigates the trace, sonic and material residues that can be traced back to the human being and will survive the latter.
By proposing a different relational approach between the natural and the artificial as well as to waste and the ephemeral, we want to push the imagination where no human can go: beyond its extinction.
