On November 18 at 6:30 pm, CRIT’s appointment with artist Abd Alrahman Dukmak returns. Abd is one of the artists of PARSEC RESIDENCY, a three-month residency program for emerging artists from different fields and disciplines.

The CRIT is a moment in which the artist opens up to a collective critique and to a confrontation with the public present in the space who, observing the work, will be able to express their own point of view building an opportunity for shared analysis. Each CRIT is open to allə and lasts 45 minutes, structured in a first part in which the artist cannot intervene in the discussion but just listen, and in a second part in which he can actively participate.

Abd Alrahman Dukmak (1993) born and raised in Damascus, he later moved to Beirut to study Radio Tv & Film. He is currently completing his studies in Multimedia Arts at the IUAV University of Venice. His works are mainly expressed through video and photography, but his practice is open to experimentation. His film Unwritten Letters, made with Max Bloching, has been selected in important national and international film festivals and has recently won the Wiley Blackwell Student Film Prize at RAI Film Festival 2021.
