S.C.A.R.T.O.: Residual Temporary Organic Traversable Critical Space
03.02.2026
4 PM
Via Capo di Lucca, 34

The project by @collettivosoma, curated by Camilla Baccaglini, Diletta Bellegante and India Ricchi, is a site-specific intervention created on the wall of the Department of Management, located at Via Capo di Lucca 34.

Born from the experience of queer and trans artists, S.C.A.R.T.O. transforms the wall into an inhabited surface, activated by the everyday passage of diverse bodies and subjectivities, while questioning the relationship between urban space, identity and technology.

Through glitches, chromatic saturations and visual distortions, the work reimagines the street in front of it as an alternative space. Images of the artists’ bodies emerge as hybrid presences, while the aesthetics of the CAPTCHA introduce questions that challenge certainties around identity, corporeality and presence in public space.

QR codes scattered throughout the work invite the public to enter the project and actively take part in it. In this way, S.C.A.R.T.O. brings a critical and shared urban space to the surface through the everyday act of passing by.
