Marzia Avallone is the third participant in the PARSEC STUDIO programme, designed to support and accompany the research of young artistsÉ™.
Marzia Avallone is a bodyartist & artivist, an operator and creator of cultural formats, in the broadest sense of the term; a PhD student in the scientific area Visual, Performing and Fashion Arts, as well as co-founder and creative director of the cultural and musical proposals of the cultural Tank.
During PARSEC STUDIO Avallone carried out a project Achiropita: multiples of art as a collective commitment inspired by the icon of the Madonna della Salute to reflect on how we govern the world and relate to it and how human activity negatively affects the natural functions of the planet. The artist has reworked the icon to create a hybrid version in a 2.0 key and turn it into a device capable of activating relationships with those who, in different ways, come into contact with it.
Achiropita: multiples of art as a collective commitment was released on 17 March 2025 on Kickstarter. The pre-order campaign will be active until 23 April 2025!
By pre-ordering, you will support the project and 5% of the proceeds will be donated to Survival Italy for the campaign for uncontacted peoples.
Support the project, pre-order!
