FAQs
HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE FESTIVAL
Mandatory check-in
To access the camping area you need to check in and collect your pass at the infopoint in Piazza Marconi 1.
At check-in you will be given:
- a wristband as your personal pass
- a tag to attach to your tent, to show that you’ve checked in
Infopoint hours:
- Friday, September 4th: 4:00pm – 8:00pm
- Saturday, September 5th: 1:00pm – 3:00pm / 5:00pm – 7:00pm
- Sunday, September 6th: 10:00am – 2:00pm
If you arrive when the infopoint is closed and need to pitch your tent, you can do so, but you’ll need to go to the infopoint to check in as soon as it reopens.

WHERE CAN I SLEEP?
You can sleep in the festival’s camping area, included with the pass. It’s not a fully equipped campsite, but a dedicated area where you can pitch your own tent or park your camper van. Toilets and showers will be available nearby. For full details on the camping regulations, see this document.
If you buy a single ticket, you can add one or more camping nights separately.
Castiglione dei Pepoli and the surrounding area also have hotels, B&Bs and other accommodation.
Details on camping area accessibility.
DO I NEED TO BUY A PASS, OR CAN I BUY SINGLE TICKETS?
You can choose either option. Passes let you take part in the whole festival programme, while with single tickets you can choose which activities and days to attend: form here.
DO I NEED TO BOOK INDIVIDUAL ACTIVITIES EVEN IF I HAVE A PASS?
Yes. Some workshops, walks and activities have limited spots, so even if you’ve bought a pass, remember to book the activities you want to take part in.
IS THE PARSEC MEMBERSHIP CARD INCLUDED IN THE TICKET?
The Parsec membership card is included with passes, but not with single tickets. If you buy a single ticket and are not already a member, you’ll need to become one separately. Membership is mandatory as it covers insurance and costs €5. To register online, download and fill in this form and proceed with the €5 payment via:
– PAYPAL: parsec.bo@gmail.com (friends and family)
– IBAN: IT94T0501802400000000000013 — Account holder: Parsec APS — Reference: First name Last name – Parsec APS Membership Card
DO CHILDREN NEED TO BUY A TICKET?
No, participation is free for children under 12. We do ask you to indicate their presence when purchasing the accompanying adult’s ticket or pass.
Remember to also book activities for them, as some have a limited number of spots.
HOW CAN I FIND OUT WHICH ACTIVITIES ARE ACCESSIBLE TO PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES?
We’ve gathered information on the accessibility of locations, routes and the various activities here.
Here’s the map of the parking areas closest to the events!
If you have specific needs or need more information, write to us and we’ll work together to find the best solution. The contact person is Silvia, who can be reached personally at 346 305 1528.
CAN I DRIVE TO THE LOCATIONS OF ACTIVITIES THAT INVOLVE A WALK?
Yes. If you’d prefer not to take part in the walk and would rather reach the location on your own by car, please still book the full activity and email us (parsec.bo@gmail.com). We’ll send you all the directions you need to reach us directly on site.
CAN I BRING ANIMALS?
Yes, animals are welcome! We ask you to keep them with you and under your responsibility, being mindful of other people, other animals, and the places we’ll be moving through together.
Please note that some activities involve loud music, walks, or extended time outdoors, so always consider whether the setting is suitable for their wellbeing.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
Don’t worry, we have a plan B, and if we need to activate it, we’ll communicate any changes to the programme in good time.
For now, you can join us in the no-rain dance!
DO I HAVE TO ATTEND THE WHOLE DAY?
No. You can build your own day by choosing which activities to take part in, keeping in mind that some require booking and have limited spots.
If you’ve bought a pass, you’re welcome to stay with us for the whole weekend, camping area included.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Terrapolis takes place partly outdoors, and some activities involve walks and time spent in the woods. We recommend comfortable shoes, a water bottle, something warm for the evening, and anything else you might need to be outdoors during the day.
For all information about camping, see this document: https://parsecbologna.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/INFO-CAMPING-TERRAPOLIS-2026.pdf
For activities that require specific materials or equipment, you’ll find the details in the relevant description.
WILL THERE BE FOOD AND DRINK?
The bars and restaurants of Castiglione dei Pepoli will be open during the festival. Some meals or cooking-related activities may require booking, so always check the information for each day. Sunday’s market will also include vegan food trucks.
