Collo di Bottiglia, the debut of illustrator and cartoonist Marco Quadri, is a choral tale that plays on the hypnotic trigger of a crescendo of tension and expectations that go on to trap the characters and the reader in a vortex with no way out.
Marco Quadri-already active in the world of self-published comics for many years and an acclaimed illustrator for international publications such as The New Yorker, The New York Times, and Libération-with his visionary and colorful graphic imagery realizes an incredible graphic novel, which has already been appreciated in France in its first edition published in 2023 (and now arrives in Italy enriched with previously unpublished material).
Collo di Bottiglia is a hallucinatory and lysergic journey into an allegorical world that ruthlessly mirrors our reality, in which catastrophe is always around the corner and every day is lived in fear of an uncertain future. Collo di Bottiglia is the dazzling debut of one of the new voices of Italian auteur comics.
