Fatavideo Showcase

On the occasion of Terrapolis, Sara Papini โ€“ curator and creator of the Fatavideo project/archive โ€“ will present a selection of video works within the spaces of Officina 15.

  • Francesca Lolli, Arida
This work explores the theme of eco-feminism through the figure of a mermaid who has been deprived of her water and forced to survive in an arid landscape. Once a symbol of strength and mystery tied to natural elements, the mermaid is now reduced to a shadow of her former selfโ€”becoming a symbol of resistance in a world that is losing its vitality and access to natural resources.
  • Citron Lunardi, Kingdom Plantae
A sci-fi narrative exploring a future in which humanity has become extinct after irreversibly disrupting Earth’s balance. Natureโ€”marked by human interference and contaminated by technologyโ€”re-emerges in a hybrid form, born from the collaboration between humans and artificial intelligence
  • Karin Andersen, Time to Leave
Two androgynous underground artists assemble strange devices in their lab. Later, in the deserted nightscape of the urban outskirts, they conduct a surprising experiment.
