Parsec presents an evening dedicated to the practice of Deep Listening.
At 7:00 PM, Hernán Paulitti — an Italo-Argentinian sound artist and researcher based in Bologna — will present a performance developed during his 2024 artist residency at Parsec, the result of a research journey focused on deep listening.
Following the performance, there will be a screening of the documentary Deep Listening: The Story of Pauline Oliveros by Daniel Weintraub, which traces the life and ideas of one of the most influential figures in sound art and conscious listening.
The screening will be in English.
