For Terrapolis, the artist will present a reading that begins with a participatory introduction, followed by an open mic session open to the public.
Y.L. is a Belgian artist who lives and works in Bologna. Trained at the รcole Supรฉrieure des Arts Le 75 in Brussels, her research weaves together natural phenomena, legends, and the mystical dimension, with a poetic, political, and anthropological gaze. She works between image and word, exploring light, spirituality, and collectivity through installations, painting, site-specific works, and poetry. She has taken part in various poetry readings as a member of the collective Gelateria Sogni di Ghiaccio, including PANINARE and Poetry Lecture. Her work has been featured in numerous group exhibitions in Belgium and Italy, such as Taking Care (Art City Bologna, 2024), Vivere con la luce (Sirene Wave Festival, Milan, 2024), Hide-and-Seek (Gelateria Sogni Di Ghiaccio), and ZOUT (Piccola Galleria, 2025). In 2024, she created the solo installation Destin.a.te (GRAF, Bologna).
